Menu Plan Monday


This is my first installment of Menu Plan Monday. I always make meal plans, but usually just write it on a piece of paper. Now you, my special readers, will get to see what's for eats in our house this week! (note: I prefer to make a list of meals to choose from each day, rather than plan each particular day's meals in advance. This allows more room for spontaneity)

Dinners:
  1. Crock Pot- Potatoes, chicken and potatoes with baby carrots (use italian ckn recipe but substitute dressing for chk broth)
  2. Pasta with broccoli
  3. Tacos- with ground turkey
  4. Black Bean Burritos
  5. BBQ Lentils with Mashed Potatoes (this time, make 1/2 of lentil recipe) and peas or brocoli-carrots
  6. Dinner with Dan/ friends for bday (FRIDAY)
  7. Dinner with Dad for Britt's graduation (TUESDAY)
* NOTE: Rob works Wednesday nt. Make pasta in advance for him.

Lunches:
  1. Leftovers
  2. Turkey Sandwiches
  3. Fruit
  4. String Cheese
  5. crackers and cheese
  6. Breakfast Burritos
  7. Yogurt
* NOTE: Rob works Sat. morn. Have lunch or Leftovers ready for him.

Breakfasts:
  1. Cereal
  2. Coffee/OJ
  3. Toast
  4. Waffles
  5. Eggs
  6. Fruit (bananas/ cantelope)
  7. Cottage Cheese
  8. Yogurt
To Do:
  • Bake 2 loaves bread (try whole wheat this week) (freeze one loaf)
  • Bake Healthy Muffins (if I can find recipe)
  • Bake Banana Bread (leftover Bananas) (freeze if making more than one loaf)
