Menu Plan Monday

Last week I devised my very first 2-week menu plan. In effort to cut down time spent on menu planning and also time spent grocery shopping, I decided to switch to this two week plan. After all, fewer trips to the grocery means less money is spent.

Here is the menu for our household both last week and this week.

Menu Plan, Week of 9/7/09 - 9/19/09

Dinners
  1. Corn on the Cob, mashed Potatoes- package, Veggie
  2. Green Beans, Ham, Red potatos
  3. Creamy Chicken and Veggies
  4. Sausage and Egg Noodles
  5. Sausage and Potatoes
  6. Ground Turkey Tacos with Rice
  7. Pasta with broccoli and alfredo sauce
  8. Beef Stew with Corn Bread
  9. Home-made Mashed Potatoes with marinated chicken and corn
  10. Sage Pork Chops and Apples
  11. Chicken Salad With Breadsticks
  12. Pizza night

  • Ham/Turkey and PB&J sandwiches with chips, yogurt, fruit
  • Hotdogs with Mac and Cheese
  • Salad with bread and Butter
  • Black bean burritos

  • Tomato Soup/ Grilled Cheese

  • Toast with fruit
