Today we ran 3 miles around 9pm. It was already dark by this time, and we chose to run a different route as usual. I felt good right from the start. Perhaps it was because I ate rather sensibly today. I know breakfast certainly helped:
Grape nuts give me a lot of power! I also had my required intake of fiber, carbs and protein today.
Back to the run, I finished the 5K at 25:30. People, that is one minute shy from my high school cross country time! And I didn't even run as fast as I could! And half of the run was all uphill! WOOOHOO! This makes me feel very confident about the half-marathon that is, *gasp*, only a week and a half away.
